With the aim of providing quality education to every child in India, the RTE MP Admission 2025-26 “Right to Education Act” (RTE) was implemented in 2009. Under this, children between 3 and 6 years of age have been provided the right to free and compulsory education. The government is making every effort to provide free education to children under RTE.

In order to effectively implement Section 12 (1) (g) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 and to make the process of free admission for children belonging to weaker sections and disadvantaged groups transparent and easy, online application, post-application verification by verification officers with original documents, allotment of seats from amongst children found eligible in the verification through online lottery and after allotment, process of free admission for session 2025-26 is to be done.

RTE MP Admission free admission process

Candidates can apply online for RTE MP Admission 2025-26 free admission in non-grant recognised private schools of village/ward, neighbourhood and extended neighbourhood displayed class-wise on the portal by verifying their Samagra ID and Aadhaar. After applying, it is mandatory to get the original documents verified on the prescribed date and at the prescribed verification centre. After verification, admission to private schools will be done through online lottery as per the eligibility of the applicant under Right to Education Act and on the basis of options provided by the applicant.

Who can avail the benefits under RTE?

Every child has an equal right to education irrespective of his caste, religion, or economic status. RTE ensures this. The benefits of RTE are available to those children who come from weaker and disadvantaged sections of the society. This includes Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections.

Age Limit

According to the new education policy, age has been fixed according to the class. According to the new education policy, the age for admission in schools according to the class for applying will be as follows. For admission in the session 2025-26, the age of the applicant will be calculated as on 01 April 2025.

Reservation Process

Percentage Reservation – Under RTE, 25% of seats in private schools are reserved for underprivileged classes.

Priority to underprivileged sections – Children whose parents are poor or who come from the neglected section of the society are given priority.
